Cool Salads

Cold pad thai, with a sweet and sour with peanuts, bok choi, carrots and green onion. Beside that a buckwheat barley and cranberry salad with sunflower seeds, parsley, grape seed oil, vinegar, cayenne, pepper.

Picnic

Shady park, good company, cherry tomatoes, tiny pitas, havarti cheese = Pleasant lunch.

Tortillas and Tangelo

Black bean patties and corn and salsa on wheat tortillas. Finishing that up with a spiral cut tangelo.

Fettucine with Camembert Sauce, Black Lentils on Tomato slice

Fettucine topped with a caraway seed white sauce with camembert partly melted in.
Some corn beside a repeat of the cuminned black lentils on tomato slice since the aesthetics work so well.

Broiled Polenta

Polenta broiled with olive oil, salsa, mozzarella with broccoli and whole wheat spaghetti topped with mushroom tomato sauce.

Sedani Ritori Pasta

A quick supper of sedani ritori pasta (spiralled ridged macaroni) with a sauce of browned brown flour, sour cream, chives beside instant mashed potatoes and asparagus.

Fiddleheads

The last week of fiddleheads with butter melting over them. A slice of tomato topped with chilled black lentil with a balsamic vinaigrette (tiny bit as their flavor is easily overwhelmed) and some whole wheat spaghetti with half of it topped with a white sauce with pepper and saffron and half with a tomato sauce.
