Fast as Soup and Salad

Under 10 minutes from hunger to satiation: Green salad with sesame mustard dressing over tomatoes and mushrooms, tomato cauliflower sauce over spinach ricotta ravioli.

Hot Night: Wasabi Soba Noodles

Time out by candlelight (with a meal made in under 10 minutes).
Hard-boiled eggs, soba noodles soy-sesame-wasabi sauce, with leeks, home picked tomatoes and hot peppers that fell into palm.

Keen on Quinoa

Red Quinoa cooks in 15 minutes. It make a colorful, textural and flavorful bed under a layer of roasted red, orange and green bell peppers and roasted zucchini. That’s all got a crunchy topping of fried slices of corn tortillas beside the asparagus. No sauces required.

Vichyssoise Choice

A little chop here and a little food processor blending off-screen.

Voila: A vichyssoise soup made from 1 large leek, 5 field tomatoes and a little over 1/3 cup of a mixture of thai and sweet basil. It is dressed with a sprig of thai basil, a hot pepper and a sprinkling of hemp seed.

BBQ Corn

It doesn’t have to be complex to be delicious: BBQ-roasted corn was eaten with (unpictured) veggie burgers, coleslaw and veggie salad.
