Knorr Vegetable Spinach Dip

Posted on Sunday 13 August 2006

Corn chips and veggies with dip. Fresh fruit and some sweets and drinks and cheeses still to come.

The dip recipe used to be always on the package. Thank goodness I copied it down (because times and packages change but a good recipe is pretty much forever).

1 package of knorr vegetable soup mix
2 cups, 500 ml sour cream (low fat)
1 cup 250 ml mayonnaise
1 package (300 g) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed
1 can (10 oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
3 green onions, chopped
Mix well, cover and refrigerate 2 hours. Stir before serving.

Lord, I haven’t had that in years - and I love it! I am trying to lose weight, though, so I will not be making that soon.

    Michele sent me!

I’ve seen that stuff at the store but the mix isn’t vegan…still trying to do my best with that. Altho Knorr does have a few vegan sauces…one is the Red Bell Pepper Pesto - I think that is what it’s called. Yummers.
