Knorr Vegetable Spinach Dip

Corn chips and veggies with dip. Fresh fruit and some sweets and drinks and cheeses still to come.

Scone Zone

This is a cranberry-orange scone with clotted cream and jam from the offerings sold by the Scone Witch (They provided food at the Lumiere festival.)

Morel-Rosemary Sauce over Long Macaroni

Green beans, simply boiled. Long macaroni, ditto. Fresh tomato sauce with basil and tvp on one half of the pasta, and a rosemary morel sauce on the other.
The tarragon-morel sauce is a quarter white onion and 14g of morels chopped and fried in 3 tablespoons of oil and 1 tablespoon of rosemary-infused olive oil. […]

And Naan Again

Spinach naan (Rinag brand) and gnocchi tossed in freshly grated pepper, parmesan and low-fat feta. A little pureed cilantro tops it.

Corn on the Cob

Corn on the cob, basmati rice and a a green salad (lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese and cucumber with a squeeze of lemon juice)

Chocolate Pecan Bars

This is a spin-off of Joe’s Mexican-Chocolate Pecan Bars.
(The Ibarra Mexican chocolate was like hard brown sugar with a lot of cocoa and some spice mixed in it. Not at all as intense as I expected.)

Chowing on Chowder

I tried my hand at corn chowder from the recipe at Poco-Coco but substituting what I had, which meant 2% condensed milk thickened with browned flour and butter, instead of half-and-half cream and onions for leeks. I also pureed part.

Some freezer-love. Peanut butter and chocolate soy ice cream, thawed cake and a banana.
