A stir fry with a tiny bit of honey mustard sauce in it (served over fruit and nut cous cous) was a delicious change of pace.
The veggies included white and purple cauliflower, broccoli, onion, peas in pod, baby corn, carrots and peas. The brown is fried tofu.

I came across this fried canned sweet tofu at an Asian import shop. It was about $6 for a can. There was a bit of a gap between label appearance and when it was open but the Arizushi-no-moto tastes good.

Hi, Michele sent me.
Wow that dish (the first one) looks like something my mum makes. Yum!
Canned tofu, eh? Interesting! We have several Aisian groceries around here…I’ll look for it!

those bean curd pockets are for making Inarizushi. Basically, just stuff them with rice that has been mixed with a bit of vinegar, sugar, and light seasonings. It is truly addictive stuff!
Thanks Laura.
I’ll give that a try.
