That looks really yummy.  I love bean soup of most any kind.  My mom reads cookbooks of all types and is always trying new things.  We have a fig tree and this year they are ripening in mass quantities so she and my dad played with them and came up with an apple-fig pie, no sugar (Splenda) since she is diabetic.  I must say it is quite good.  I'll have to point her to this site.</description>
