White Kidney Bean Soup and Crescent Rolls

Posted on Wednesday 20 September 2006

It’s still nice enough to eat outside. :)

The soup was white kidney beans, onions, carrots (coming into season), rehydrated sun-dried tomatoes, some sage and thyme.

The rolls were the crescent rolls this time rolled thinner and the dough cut into 8 triangles instead of quarters.

    Here from Michele.

That looks really yummy. I love bean soup of most any kind. My mom reads cookbooks of all types and is always trying new things. We have a fig tree and this year they are ripening in mass quantities so she and my dad played with them and came up with an apple-fig pie, no sugar (Splenda) since she is diabetic. I must say it is quite good. I’ll have to point her to this site.
