The burger patty was one of the pre-made ones from ground nuts and seeds. It is one toasted whole wheat bun topped with saurkraut in a ring of onion, tomatoes and cheddar On the side baked pototo and string beans.
Dessert first. A lemon meringue pie from mix. I grated in some lemon zest for extra lemonyness. Top was dolloped and made with 3 egg white meringue that didn’t quite meet the crust. Taste was still good.
Green salad (cucumber, radish, tomato, feta), cheddar, egg drop soup and tuna sandwiches on rye or whole wheat.
Broiled corn tortilla chips with salsa and medium cheddar.
Roughly slice red potatoes and toss in sage, thyme and sea salt. Broil while brussels sprouts boil.
Spaghetti under piquant sauce, with mushrooms and parmesan.
Boiled acorn squash, baby carrots and sliced portabella mushroom and bearnaise sauce over orzo.
