Masala Black Beans and Veggies

Posted on Saturday 6 January 2007

The black beans were mixed with rajmah masala and onions. The cucumber raita would have been cooling had I not cut into the new white onion that was quite potent and peppery. It made for the cucumber-yogurt mixture that was hot. The boiled spinach and cauliflower took the role the raita would have with as much blandness as they could muster.

Oooh! Rajma and Raita!:)) We rinse chopped onions before adding to raita to be kept away to marinate for a while to mellow the flavor.Enjoy.
