
Baked “emperor tofu” (bought shrink wrapped) is basically, from the taste, mixed with pureed veggies and deep fried, but there was better to be had besides: baby carrots, asparagus, gnocchi with strands of cheese with the textural/taste variety of parsley. The cous cous with sliced almonds and ginger and syrup and anise seems to have worked.

I love Gnocchi! Never tried Emperor Tofu though.
