Soup and a Pasta a la Jamie Oliver

Pretty Pancakes

Pancakes for 2
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 egg
3/4 tsp baking powder
dash salt
1 cup skim milk
2 Tbs no-salt butter
4 or 5 cubes of ginger in syrup, diced
1/2 cup blackberries, chopped
Mix all together for 2 minutes. Fry in butter.

Gnocchi and salad

A bit of gnocchi with fresh feta beside a green salad with mushrooms.

Noodle Helper

Hamburger helper using So Soya instead, without the seasoning pack to avoid oversaltiness. Beside is a green salad with mushrooms and a dressing made from coconut milk, olive oil, fresh orangejuice, segments of clementines and rosemary.

Sliced Herbed Potatoes

Sliced potatoes grilled with tarragon, thyme, oregano, savory, sage and sea salt. Scrambled eggs with green onions.

Gelato

Whole foods has il laboratorio del gelato. On top here is a grey gelato with an intense sesame taste — black sesame. Under it as a tarragon pink peppercorn gelato. Love the risk-taking innovation. It’s a heady list of taste concepts. They do home delivery, but to US addresses only unfortunately.

Lady Apples

Lady’s apples are tiny for the “delicate palm” and have a crisp sweet perfumy taste. A tiny pear from the market joins the breakfast in bed picnic.
