Puffed Pototoes

It’s sort of like watching popcorn pop. Slice potatoes thin and bake them and watch them brown and puff. Guaranteed better than watching paint dry.

So red potatoes, ketchup-lined, green beans and broccoli with a cheese sauce which did not work in so many ways (over-salted, lumpy, started to burn). Almost a day worthy of buying those pre-made boxed suppers but paying a premium for essentially someone else’s frozen leftovers seems wrong somehow.
