Onion Garlic Bread and Quick Yum

( On the Table and Pasta and Bread )

Pictured is onion bread remade into very garlicky garlic bread, some noodles and gnocchi both with a basilled veggie tomato sauce and a mushroom-savory omelet.

Spinached Potatoes

Small serving for light appetite, some thawed garlic bread and some potato tosses in spinach and sauce.
recipe:
a few red potatoes, washed and quartered and baked
big handful of spinach leaves, torn to bite sized
sauce:
1/4 onion, chopped
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1.2 tsp each fennel, cumin, turmeric, red pepper, powdered ginger, cinnamon and hot pepper seeds

Using Your Noodle

Some noodles with parmesan take the foreground while the cauliflower hangs back with the roasted veggies thrown in a pan until everything else was prepped and cooked. Shallots, zucchini, button mushrooms tossed with a why-not-try-this-mix of turmeric, paprika, cardamom and fennel.

Puffed Pototoes

It’s sort of like watching popcorn pop. Slice potatoes thin and bake them and watch them brown and puff. Guaranteed better than watching paint dry.
