At Mom’s

Food at mom’s. Rutabaga mashed, strawberry jello with a can of dole fruit suspended in it, canned peas, homemade pickled beets, scalloped potatoes.

Moroccan Tagine

A variation from Ken Charney’s The Bold Vegetarian Chef
4 Shallots
1 rib of celery (chopped)
cube of minced ginger
2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced

Sliced garlic, chopped shallots, pureed ginger fried briefly.

Spices
1 1/2 tsp fennel

Lasagna and Chowder II - The Leftover Edition

This may look familiar. Some whipped mashed potatoes and the parts are just as good. I would like to find a good vegan lasagna recipe to try tho.

A lemon merigue pie from scratch assembly from boxed lemon mix, supplemented with extra juice for tang. A reliable frozen pie shell. And 5 egg whites instead of the usual 2 for height of fluffiness of meringue.
