
1 1/2 cups mixed beans and lentils, soaked overnight

The beans and lentil change color a lot.
Drain the bean water, keep a cup and put it with the following:
1 carrot, chopped
2 Tbs molasses
3 Tbs ketchup
1 Tbs “old style mustard” (with the whole seeds)
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp hot curry powder
1/2 tsp regular curry powder
1 bay leaf

In the top picture, the bread is a green onion dim sum, baked from frozen. The package says it has no lard or fat but it certainly tastes like it does.
