Hot cocoa

Bagel, cream cheese and sprinkle of herbs.

Baked Beans

1 1/2 cups mixed beans and lentils, soaked overnight

The beans and lentil change color a lot.
Drain the bean water, keep a cup and put it with the following:
1 carrot, chopped
2 Tbs molasses
3 Tbs ketchup
1 Tbs “old style mustard” (with the whole seeds)
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp hot curry powder
1/2 tsp regular curry powder

Broccoli Pizza

Onion, broccoli, mushroom, red pepper on a white-cheese sauce on a thin whole wheat crust.

Gazing on Grazing

Light lunch of broccoli and soba noodles in a sesame sauce. Miso soup with that bit of seaweed and tofu held us over to lupper:

Apples

You recall the 5 Things to Eat before you Die?
The transparent apples are now in season again. They have to be eaten nearly off tree and start to spoil within hours of picking. But while they last…
