Treat

At Moulin de Provence this is probably my favorite but it’s unreliable. Sometimes solid and sometimes without pecans on the bottom and a lot of cakey stuff and sometimes none.

Breaded Tofu and Basmati

Basmati rice cooked with dal makhani spice mix, saffron and flame red raisins. Green beans, peas and the breaded tofu.

Soyarie firm tofu with veggies dipped in egg and then rolled in bread crumbs and oregano and fried in virgin olive oil.

New Cafe in Town

Xpresso had its soft opening this week.

Cozy seating, booths and tables, breakfasts, lunches, (socially responsible and organic Café Femenino) coffees, desserts, and free wifi.

Pasta and salad

Herb pasta topped with salsa. Beside that in the foreground as you might have gathered is the salad, lettuce and spinach salad with tomato, avocado, mushroom, mixed nuts and raspberry dressing still coming.

Poached is Easy, Over

I’m tentatively saying that my hiatus is over with this brie and sour cream, poached egg on whole wheat

Church-lady-style Luncheon

Pinwheel sandwiches. It’s been years since I saw this food. Probably granddad’s wake was the last time. I suppose I could go to church bazaar sale teas to see the like.

Squares: chocolate, date squares, pink, berry, lemon, caramel-marshmallow and one other kind of bar, all the sort in Jean Pare’s Company’s Coming cookbook.
