After a day’s hard migraine, Hubby stepped in with a late evening supper. A pickup (grocer’s freezer and own ingredient add-ons) quadruple cheese (and mushrooms and spinach on thin-crust multigrain) pizza for serotonin pick-up.
Chopped spinach, artichoke ribbons pasta topped with gingers tofu, and green beans tossed in a sauce of thai spices, chopped peanuts, peanut butter, plum sauce, oil and water.

Prepping the veggies and fruits for the flames for a cookout with friends.
Threaded on skewers: potato, asian pear, onion, zucchini, mushroom, something something, tomato.
mushroom, zucchini, cilantro in onion, apple, banana, water chestnut.
And on the coals, roasted corn.
Pie shell with lemon pie mix, shifted by using 1/2 a lemon replacing some of the cold water for more tartness and a 3rd yolk instead of only 2.
Using 3 whites instead of the 2 for meringue.
A variation on vietnamese summer rolls, sorta. Rice paper wrapped around veggies and herbs.
Onion, celery, orange bell pepper, basil, rosemary and thyme herbs on rice wrapper.
Simple and good. Our 13 year wedding anniversary.
