Omlettified and Beaned

The omelet with onion, red pepper, mushrooms, broccoli and smoked cheddar. A multi-bean salad with anise, celery, red peppers, black pepper, olive oil and lemon juice.

The grilled feta-spinach cheese sandwich was alright. Good to get food into a body.

Why do I ever order quiche? It’s only ever good fresh. Heat lamps or microwaving it ruins the texture. The noodles were watery bland. Pre-made cafe food can be paying a premium for reheated leftovers.

They should know tiramisu like no other. Not having had it before I have nothing to compare it to, but if certainly had coffee and cream involved.

Cupcake

With hot pepper seeds and a chocolate glaze over its icing. New cupcake option keep coming up. The kitchen branch of Xpresso Cafe gives a molten lava cake class April 5th. Hmm….

Tofu Stew

Sweet citrus and hot pepper sauce baked around firm tofu, red and yellow sweet peppers, anise, onion, and mushrooms. Second baked potato is topped with an anise frond. Looks rather like asparagus gone to fern.

Soup and Veggie Greens

Lentil and veggie soup (a tad too bland with onion too weak) with a side of cous cous with mix of Indian spice mixes and rose petals. Some young asparagus and snow peas that were sold pre-packed from China…

English Muffins

Toasted whole wheat English muffins with egg-cheese topper and a green salad with grated carrot and sprinkled with black sesame seeds.
