Tabouli

A big handful of parsley, a few springs of cilantro, a green onion, a bit of English cucumber, 1/3 cup (dry measure, but cooked) of whole wheat cous cous, olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic, squeezes of lemon juice, a few handfuls of minced tomato. Not strictly traditional, but tasty.

And we have lunch and things to think and do.

And it’s warm enough weather to be barefoot for the view of squirrels in the tree. Wonder if that nape-biting spinning ball ever falls off its bough? It would be a short fall to the roof but still, talk about coitus inturruptus.

    I would like to intersect with all of this food I see. Had hummus today. I also made Chana Masala for our dinner last week and he informed me he prefers them mashed to my Indian cooking. Sad, hopefully one day he will appreciate it all!
