Sushjitas

( On the Table and Bread and Veggies )

What if we have something for sushi and something for fajitas and hybridize them?
Some sticky rice, some grilled red peppers, some spinach and flour tortillas, bit of cucumber and instead of wasabi some hot peppers, frozen peas and red peppers pureed. Rolled up, it is tasty with texture. I could roll them tighter I suppose.

Cuke Salad

( On the Table and Bread and Veggies )

Bruschetta, in the U.S. sense, with some cucumbers and dill, onion and mayo for a quick salad. Light enough that it may call for some pudding later.

3 Bean Salad and Crust of Bread

A bit of oil, lemon, onion, celery and some mixed beans and a crust of bread.

Pickle and Veggie Sandwich

( On the Table and Bread and Veggies )

This Freestone pickle in a vaccuum-sealed bag is one of the funniest things I’ve come across in food in a while. It just tickles my funny bone.

Slivered over rye bread with grated carrots, red onion, horseradish, 4% cheese, veggie spread (red peppers, eggplant and hot peppers pureed)

Asparagus Pizza

All the kinds of cheeses in the house, romano, parmesan, cheddar, 4% allegro, mozzarella and some veggies wedged in there for more goodness…asparagus and slices of zucchini.

Vegan Manwich

Parsnips on the side of a kaiser sandwich, no, a manwich, made from the canned tomato sauce for sloppy joes and So Soya + ground veggie burger (i.e. dried soy flour made into a dehydrated crumble). “Fun piled on a bun.”
