Chocolate Brownie

This recipe for Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies is super-rich. I omitted the nuts and increased the cocoa by 1/3. I halved the frosting and substituted about the volume of milk with corn syrup, and upped the cocoa to get the right consistency.

How gratifying to empty so many containers.

Tofu Mousse

Quick and cool mousse topped with mint leaves and blueberries.

Papaya, peach, blueberries and honey are in the food processer. Frozen sweetened rhubarb, the pear and the tofu are still to be added.

Applesauce Cake

Applesauce cake
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
salt (dash)
1/2 cup cultured unsalted butter
3/4 cup demera brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup applesauce
1 cup raisins
