What it is to be human at
Pearl Pirie's Page Half Full Poems

A Franciscan Travel Blessing
May God bless you with discomfort at easy answers,
half truths and superficial relationships
so that you may live deep within your heart.

May God bless you with anger at injustice,
oppression, and exploitation of people,
so that you may wish for justice, freedom, and peace.

May God bless you with enough foolishness
to believe that you can make a difference in this world,
so that you can do what others claim cannot be done.

If it can be fixed, why worry? If it can't be fixed why worry? If you're not sure, fuss it all.

my photo Humanyms is a verbal sketchpad for ruminating what it is to be human. Common, but not exclusive themes are: poetry, linguistics and social justice. Snippets of life and poetry in progress appear. (Unless otherwise attributed, I wrote them.)

Since everyone needs some extra space, take out the ones in the email when you give feedback to me pagehalffull    @  yahoo.  com. Will you sign my Guestbook and let me know you were here?

 Thanks for reading!!

(Tues. Dec 6, 'oh four: 260) Moven 'Er On Over

Moving current entries and past entries to a new blog space for the advantages of being able to categorize and search entries easily with a simpler to keep tidy layout. Bye-bye Dreamweaver. It's been nice.
