In the early 80s I fought a key fob of a rabbit skin at a farmer’s market or maybe a plowing match.
In the late 80s I bought faux fur to sew a googly-eyed pencil case. Which I still have, somewhere.
In the early 90s on St. Catherine Street, Montreal I bought a feather boa. Another customer sidewinded up to me and said in paranoid tones, you know where those come from don’t you? They make them from the tails of stray cats.
What does that add up to? Major cat toy excitement. You never know when a plan will come together from parts.
